Platt College in Aurora Colorado has a long list of complaints.
1.
The college has a dean that fights with the students. The dean has made one female student even cry by telling her that all of the staff are against her. The school has suspended several students without cause.
2.
Platt College requires its students to take the ATI exams for certain nursing classes. If you do not pass it within two tries you fail the course. If you fail the course, the student will be put on academic suspension. These tests were never required for previous students.
3.
The school started off as a non-regionally accredited school. This means that if you try to apply as a nurse to any major hospital, you will be rejected. The owner lied to its students concerning this fact. The school costs 60,000 to attend and is not worth it.
4.
Platt also lied when all students were originally enrolled in a 2 year and 8 month program. Platt College is not 3 years and 6 months long, and none of the students were given a vote.
Anyone out there had defective service issues with expensive Viking Range Corporation appliances? We’ve got three expensive appliances from Viking and had defects with all three. Parts coming in aren’t the right item and waiting for months to get in the right parts. We’ve been inconvenienced over a year with issues resulting in not full usage of our frige, rangetop and stainless steel range vent system. Run around through their customer service placing blame on out sourced parts not being their problem.
Has anyone experienced recent or past problems with United Airlines? Of course you have…Here’s mine: I recently had to fly home to Washington State for a funeral and of course the request was last minute. Being a frequent flyer member of this airline for many years, I decided to call for expediency in my departure (as I had done in the past). I was given and accepted a price quote of $630, flew home to grief the loss and provide support to my family for the funeral arrangements. This ticket was fully flexible and fully changeable. However, unbenounced to me my credit card was charged an amount that exceeded what was agreed upon (by $212) during my telephonic conversation with a customer service representative. This in my opinion is an outrage and leads not only me, but others who will read this blog, reluctant to make any more purchases telephonically, particularly, if the cutsomer service representative makes a verbal mistake and the United Airlines Customer Service or Refund department will not honor the agreement. Although I am sending this blog to inform everyone, I also plan to take this matter to another level. I will keep you all informed.
yes, stainless venting is junk!!!!!!!!!! company sent a co. rep. to check it out. he lit a candle under it……the smoke from the candle
very slowly went up to the exhaust; he said “thats not working” I’ll let Viking know about this. 2 weeks later got a call from Viking
saying their rep. found it to be operating correctly. I called the factory rep. several times (he had left me his card) but he never returned my call. I’m whipped and tired and I’m giving up the fight…..my new Dacor oven will be here tomorrow (after 2 Vikings that didin’t work)
and I can’t wait. Also…their icemaker is junk
and found out their microwaves are made by G.E.
(I had a G.E. Microwave for 10 years; bought it from Wal-Mart and it is still working fine at my daughters.)

Wish I had some way to get back at them!
